During Mizzou's winter break, students will travel to Nicaragua. Located in Central America with scenic coasts along both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean sea, this destination boasts beautiful beaches and rich culture. Despite economic growth, poverty still exists for a significant portion of the population. GMT aims to increase access to medical care and resources to improve the quality of life for many of the citizens of this country.
